Adam Decaire serves Southwest Airlines as the Vice President, Network Planning. His primary responsibilities include all network aspects from the development of capacity through schedule creation, publication, and execution for Southwest’s domestic and international network.
Adam is also responsible for developing a mid-term network strategy and vision for Southwest including identifying new markets and geographies for Southwest. Adam is charged with developing Southwest’s entry into Airline Partnerships through interline and codeshare agreements. Adam specializes in innovative solutions addressing complex industry challenges and has led the way on several of the Company’s change initiatives designed to generate revenue, reduce costs, and maximize aircraft productivity.
Adam began his career at Southwest Airlines in 1996 as a Ramp Agent in Cleveland, Ohio. Adam spent over four years in various operational roles before transitioning to the Network Planning Department and was promoted in August 2018 to Vice President, Network Planning.
Adam graduated from the Ohio State University with a degree in Aviation Management. Adam and his wife, Colleen, have three beautiful children: Zachary, Ryan, and Zoey.
