Berthold is the COO of Qatar Tourism; leading it’s day to day operations and implementation of the 2030 strategy. He has over 20 years hands on experience as transformation leader in the travel industry and has worked at Carlson Wagonlit Travel, the world’s #1 corporate travel company as EVP for Traveler Services, CEO for Fursan Travel (Saudi Arabia) and COO for DCTCM (UAE). He started his career with McKinsey & Company in Germany and later in South Korea – where he served clients as partner in the travel & logistics industry.
