Joe is responsible for maximizing profit for all hotels and brands owned by Starwood Capital Group globally by partnering with the management’s executive team to develop and execute commercial strategies across all segments and acquisition channels. Today, Joe provides commercial leadership for over 1,000 hotels worldwide, including some category-defining brands, such as Extended Stay America, 1 Hotels, Treehouse, YOTEL, and De Vere. He also serves as an advisory and executive board member for various industry organizations and technology partners as an advocate of owners’ interests.

Prior to joining Starwood Capital Group, Joe held various leadership positions at some of the most celebrated companies, such as The Principal Hotel Company, The Palms Casino, and Expedia.
