Olivia Richli’s career has been devoted to opening, running and understanding the soul of some of the world’s most eclectic, spectacular, stylish and service-oriented hotels.

Her hotel career began with Amanresorts. Richli spent 20 years opening and operating three of Adrian Zechas properties: Amanjiwo in Central Java, Amangalla in Sri Lanka and Aman Venice on the Grand Canal. At Amangalla, Aman Venice and now Heckfield Place, Richli’s taste and sense of dignity infused the transformation of a historic structure into a 21st-century hotel that respects and enhances its heritage.

In 2015, Richli spent 2 years in the Indian Ocean to open Soneva Jani in the Maldives before heading to the UK in 2018, to open Heckfield Place. Heckfields sense of responsibility has inspired Richli onto the next level of stewardship, one that quietly leads by example and endeavors to establish an estate that will thrive and guide all those who visit.
