Reggie Aggarwal is the CEO & Founder of Cvent, a market-leading meetings, events & hospitality software company based in Mclean, VA with 5,000 employees and 22,000 customers worldwide. As a long-time leader in the meetings and events space, Cvent technology powers millions of in-person, virtual and hybrid events for thousands of organizations, and planners sourced $16B+ of meetings business through Cvent’s sourcing platforms in 2023 alone.

Reggie founded Cvent in 1999, as a 2-person startup, and eventually took it public in 2013 (NYSE:CVT). The company then went private with Vista Equity Partners in 2016 for $1.65 billion. Cvent continued to scale its business for the next 5 years and eventually went public again in December of 2021 (Nasdaq:CVT). In June of 2023, Blackstone, the largest private equity firm in the world, took Cvent private for $4.6B.

Reggie has been featured in The Wall Street Journal, Forbes, and Business Week, and has been on CNN, BBC, and other news networks for his meeting industry insights and expertise. In 2022, he was inducted into the Washington Business Hall of Fame – a prestigious accolade recognizing his business success and community engagement.
