Rick Fast is the Senior Vice President of Experience Engineering at Expedia Group, responsible for the technology behind all of the customer-facing sites and mobile applications for both travelers (Expedia.com, Orbitz, Travelocity, Hotwire, Vrbo, Hotels.com, etc.) and supply partners (Expedia Group Partner Central, Vrbo Owner, Escapia, etc). Rick has also served as the Head of Platform Architecture at Expedia Group and as a Senior Principal Engineer at Orbitz Worldwide. Rick holds a bachelor of computer science from Illinois State University and a Master of Software Engineering from DePaul University. He resides in Geneva, Illinois with his family.
