Trixie LohMirmand has almost two decades of residence and events organizing experience in the UAE She currently serves as the Executive Vice President in Events Management in Dubai World Trade Centre (DWTC), one of the largest strategic business units in the organization. She works with private and public sector stakeholders over the long term to scale and transform some of the local events into global mega scale business gatherings with resounding economic impact on the country and region’s
tourism and trade sectors.

Most recently amidst the pandemic between Dec 2020 – February 2021, Trixie led her team to spearhead the global restart of large-scale events with GITEX GLOBAL and Gulfood, cementing Dubai as the first city in the world to safely re-open mega events amidst global lockdown. GITEX GLOBAL 2022, the largest tech event in the world, was recently rated as the “Best Large Scale Exhibition in the World” of any industry in an independent global survey.

Trixie also led the creative conceptualization and launch of city-wide large-scale tourism festivals including Dubai Fitness Challenge, the emirate well-being initiative of the Crown Prince of Dubai, and Dubai Food Festival, now the emirate’s largest annual celebration of culinary and gastronomy experiences.

Trixie was recently announced as the CEO of KAOUN International, the events company of DWTC established to create global partnerships in local and overseas markets. She serves as the Vice President of the UAE Singapore Business Council and on the Advisory Board of Nord Anglia International School Dubai, and Vice President of the Board of the UK headquartered The Marketing Society.
