Omer Acar to Join Skift Global Forum Lineup

We’re excited to announce Accor’s CEO of Raffles & Orient Express, Omer Acar, will be taking the stage at Skift Global Forum.

Omer took the helm at Raffles and Orient Express earlier this spring after serving as Katara Hospitality’s managing director for Europe and the Americas, where he supervised 18 hotels including the Plaza in New York and Peninsula in Paris. Now, in New York, he represents Raffles and Orient Express on behalf of the Paris-based hotel giant’s luxury and lifestyle division.

Accor recently reported the company expects to return to pre-pandemic levels of net unit growth between now and 2027. We’re looking forward to hearing from Omer on what the future holds for Accor and for luxury this September.
