Senior Public Policy Manager, Middle East
Airbnb
Amani leads Airbnb’s public policy engagement in the Middle East as the Senior Public Policy Manager for the region. In her role, she focuses on collaborating with governments and other partners to support the growth of the short-term rental ecosystem, and to encourage fair and proportionate regulations that allow the sector to thrive.
Amani’s experience prior to Airbnb similarly focused on public policy and government affairs in the Middle East, with a particular focus on the GCC. She joined Airbnb from GHD, a global consulting firm, where she led a public policy practice based in Dubai, and advised a variety of GCC government entities on topics ranging from government strategy and policy to organizational transformation. Amani also spent five years at Harvard Kennedy School of Government, where she led the university’s largest collaboration in the Middle East region, a multi-disciplinary public policy program delivered in partnership with the Abu Dhabi Government. Throughout her career, Amani has been an advocate for the transformational impact of the Middle East and the role that smart policy can play in the region’s growth.
