Caroline Godden is the Global Brand Leader for Sheraton Hotels & Resorts. In her role, Caroline leads the Sheraton community through a pivotal and exciting time, transforming, and revitalizing an iconic and global brand. Overseeing everything from product transformation to evolved guest and associate experiences, Caroline is responsible for promoting Sheraton’s overall growth and transformation progress on a global scale to all key audiences. Having worked at Marriott International for nearly 11 years, Caroline has worn many hats within the world of hospitality. Most recently, she led brand marketing for AC, Aloft, Element and Moxy. where she spearheaded global brand identity refreshes, new partnership launches, media campaigns, and more. She began her Marriott career with Marriott Hotels’ brand transformation and enterprise campaigns and was also a key driver of the Starwood integration work. Caroline went on to lead Sheraton digital and social integration and its initial repositioning before making her transition into global brand management and marketing in 2018. After supporting the overall brand portfolio through the pandemic, Caroline took on a brand marketing role for the eight Premium brands, where she had the opportunity to once again support Sheraton Transformation and see the debut of its first fully transformed hotels. Now, with Caroline at the helm, she, along with her team, are laser-focused on disrupting mindsets and enhancing Sheraton Hotels’ reputation among today’s travelers, proving that this iconic brand can truly become the World’s Gathering Place.
