Dr. Saleh Shoaib currently holds the position of Public Policy Lead for the Gulf Region & Egypt. Thus advocates for a conductive policy and regulatory environment growth in the entertainment industry in the region.

Dr. Shoaib worked for more than 15 years in public administration, diplomacy, legal affairs and public policy on national, regional and international levels and held the position of Saudi Commercial Attaché to Switzerland for more than five years, during which he commercially represented Saudi bilaterally and in all international organizations related to trade, development, environment and IPRs. Dr. Shoaib further worked for 9 years in Microsoft as Corporate Affairs Lead for Saudi and other priority markets, contributing to positive ICT policy development and implementation.

Dr. Shoaib holds a Doctorate degree in International Commercial Law from the University of Aberdeen, UK. Also obtained a Trade Policy Diploma from the World Trade Organization in Geneva, Switzerland, and earned a Master’s degree in International Commercial Law from the University of Kent, UK and a BA in Law from King Abdulaziz University in Jeddah, Saudi Arabia.
