Hoor Al Khaja is Senior Vice President in International Operations within the Dubai Corporation of Tourism and Commerce Marketing (DCTCM) – the body responsible for the branding, promotion and marketing of the Emirate of Dubai under Dubai Economy and Tourism (DET).
Hoor joined the Corporation in 2013, initially working on the Tourism Sector Strategy, before transferring to the International Operations Department, where she worked on various different markets for the past 10 years, most notably the Asia Pacific region where she focused on driving the inbound China Market Strategy to Dubai, pushing China up from Dubai’s 11th source market to its 4th. She now oversees all of Dubai’s global source markets, and is ultimately responsible for making Dubai one of the top 3 global most-visited destination in the world.
An experienced public speaker, Hoor acts as a DET spokesperson, working to highlight Dubai’s position as a global business and leisure destination.
Prior to this role, Hoor was a Senior Research Analyst working on Public Policy and Strategy at the UAE Prime Minister’s Office.
