Before that, he held the position of President at Vrbo and played a crucial role as Chief Strategy Officer at HomeAway, overseeing the company’s successful sale to Expedia, Inc.

Before venturing into the vacation rental industry, Hurst worked as a consultant at McKinsey & Company, collaborating with consumer brands on corporate strategy, mergers and acquisitions, and pricing strategies. Hurst’s educational background includes a master’s degree from the Stanford Graduate School of Business and a bachelor’s degree from the University of Texas at Austin.
