Joe is responsible for the company’s marketing, strategy, product management, and innovation efforts. He joined Allianz Partners in 2014 as the Chief Marketing Officer of the U.S. business and was named to lead the Americas in 2016 and then to his global position in 2018, currently returning from an international assignment in France overseeing the company’s expansion efforts in Europe.
During his time at Allianz Partners, Joe and his team have led the transformation of the travel line of business from traditional travel insurance to more robust, end-to-end travel protection. By delivering products and services that provide a greater sense of safety, security, and well-being, the company has benefited from exceptional revenue and customer growth while also receiving consistent industry acclaim.
Prior to joining Allianz Partners, Joe spent nearly 20 years in the financial services industry where he held senior leadership positions across marketing, strategy, and analytics for Capital One Financial Corporation and Intersections Inc. During these tenures, Joe was instrumental in driving a customer-first culture and introducing a host of innovations, including being awarded patents for life stage marketing and social networking, along with several design patents.
Joe holds a master’s degree in business administration from the College of William & Mary and a bachelor’s degree in commerce from the University of Virginia. He currently resides in Richmond, Virginia with his wife and two children.
