Juan Carlos is the CEO of Viva Aerobus, Mexico’s Ultra Low Cost Carrier.
Prior to joining Viva he was in the restaurant industry running a business he started on college.

He was part of Viva Aerobus founding team, he started in the Commercial Department and became CEO in 2010 at age 29.

Viva Aerobus has grown with a CAGR of 25%, has one of the lowest unit costs worldwide, ancillaries represent almost 50% of their revenues, and have a 33% domestic market share. Viva is one of Latin America´s fastest growing carriers, operating the youngest fleet in America of 75 Airbus 320/A321.
Juan Carlos has a bachelor on Industrial Engineering from Monterrey Tec University and a Master´s Degree in Public Policy from Public Policy School of Tec de Monterrey.

Married with Natalia and raising 4 very young kids; he loves running and cooking.
