Made Music Studio

Lauren McGuire is the President of Made Music Studio, a sonic branding and design agency. An accomplished strategist and leader, she has been driving growth of the company since joining Made Music in 2011 through business growth and innovation.

McGuire has overseen client relationships with Disney, AT&T, American Express, HBO, IMAX, Citi, Frito Lay, Univision, Alzheimer’s Association, and more. She has been featured in The New York Times and Adweek, and on stage at The 4As Accelerate, PSFK, and ESOMAR for her expertise on the changing landscape on sound and audio for brands. She leads Made Music’s innovation by partnering with technology leaders to explore the future of audio in branding, entertainment, and spaces.

McGuire leads the company’s belonging, dignity, and justice initiatives (an alternative DEI approach created by Decolonize Design), in an ongoing effort to transform to an actively anti-racist, truly progressive creative company. This work has revolutionized hiring practices, PTO and parental leave policies and benefits to the standards of the Pledge Parental Leave program.

She previously worked in a variety of scientific and creative fields, starting in physician and consumer healthcare advertising, most notably on Pfizer businesses where she managed multi-million-dollar ad budgets and launched global campaigns.

Outside of the office, Lauren is an advocate for survivors in volunteering with the New York hospital’s Domestic Violence and Rape Crisis program.
