As Chief of Education and Culture, Marjan Faraidooni oversees Expo City Dubai’s iconic attractions and engaging exhibitions, having previously led on the strategy development of the World Expo’s legacy city. Her position builds on her previous role as Chief Experience Officer at Expo 2020 Dubai, where she managed the curation, development and operations of the three Thematic Pavilions and other culture-related exhibitions and programmes.
Following the success of the World Expo’s education programmes, Marjan continues to lead on youth engagement including the Expo School Programme and Expo University Programme, which celebrate and empower youth as part of Expo City Dubai’s commitment to inspiring the generations of the future on key global and regional themes. She is also responsible for a number of community engagement programmes.

As Chief Human Resources Officer, Marjan oversees recruitment, the development of human resources policies, procedures and training programmes, as well as internal engagement.

Her past experience includes positions at Dubai Holding and the Executive Office of His Highness Sheikh Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum.
Marjan holds a Master’s degree in Public Health and a Bachelor’s degree in Human Physiology from Boston University.
