An award-winning journalist and a former U.S. attorney, Monica chronicled the shuttering of global travel as a result of Covid-19 and years of post-pandemic recovery in the industry. She has also covered the rise of cyber warfare following Russia's invasion of Ukraine and Hong Kong's demographic shifts over the last decade.
Monica led CNBC's coverage of the "Best Hotels for Business Travelers," an independently researched ranking of the top business hotels across Europe, Asia-Pacific and the Middle East. She also served as a judge for the U.N.-affiliated CIFFT Tourism Press Award in 2024.
She currently resides in Singapore.
