Pat is President/CEO of the Schaumann Consulting Group, LLC and is founder and Manager of the HMCC Certificate program and the founder and Manager for the Medical Meeting Professional (MMP) program.

Pat is the author of “Breaking the Code to Healthcare Compliance”, 5th Edition and her newly released book, “How to Plan Medical Meetings and Events.” She is also the Executive Editor of the “MPI CMP Healthcare Training Manual and “The Guide to Successful Destination Management.” Pat has also been a contributing editor to five editions of the CIC Manual.

She has been recognized by MPI for industry contributions, and was named a Leading Woman in the Industry by Skift Meetings.

She has served as an adjunct Professor at four universities and currently co-chairs the Hospitality Management Industry Advisory Board at St. Louis University’s School of Professional Studies and serves as faculty for the Healthcare Meeting Compliance Certificate.
