Rick Elieson is Vice President of Loyalty where he oversees all aspects of the program’s recognition and reward propositions for AAdvantage members. He is also responsible for the airline’s customer relationship management initiatives, AAdvantage customer service, and all travel and retail mileage partnerships and business solutions.
Rick joined American in 1994, and began his career on the Japanese desk in American’s Fort Worth Reservations office. He has led organizations in Revenue Management, Digital Marketing and AA Vacations. He most recently was the President of Cargo where he oversaw the airline’s cargo business, including operations, customer service, marketing, sales and strategy.
Rick has also led organizations in Pricing Strategy, Pricing Operations, Merchandising, Loyalty Strategy and he established the company’s first Revenue Integrity group.
Rick is an executive sponsor for Latin Diversity Network of American’s Employee Business Resource Group that promotes the values of career development, volunteerism and personal growth.
Rick earned a Bachelor of Science degree in Business Administration from Texas A&M, Commerce. He is a National Geographic published photographer and volunteers on his school district’s Technology Board and as a Boy Scout leader.
