Stephanie Turner, Senior Vice President of Convention Sales and Strategies for New Orleans & Company, is a 30-year hospitality industry veteran. With incredible experience developing business strategies that resulted in sales for the city’s top hotels and benefited the city at large, Turner has the expertise, relationships, and critical eye needed to effectively market the destination that’s Built to Host.
Under Turner’s stewardship, the convention sales, services and convention marketing teams at New Orleans & Company are a full-service operation, supporting clients throughout the sourcing, planning, attendance-building, and hosting stages. A native of New Orleans, Turner, and her team understand the impact and benefit their work courting potential meetings, professionals, and attendees have on every facet of the city’s hospitality industry – and Louisiana’s economy.
Before her appointment in July of 2019, Turner worked with New Orleans & Company for seven years from 2006-2013 developing new approaches to generate leads, driving market strategies, and regional production. from association rich city centers around the country. She collaborated to expand the destination’s regional sales presence in key offices in Washington D.C. and Chicago, and increased sales production, while also playing an important role in web development. Turner also led the new business development strategies that fed several strong years of performance for the destination.
