We are pleased to welcome Hany Abdelkawi, Head of Travel Sales at Google, to the Skift Global Forum East stage.
Hany is the Head of Travel Sales at Google, leading global innovations in the travel sector. In this role, he helps partners grow in international markets using AI. Hany steers initiatives to leverage the wealth of Google’s big data and machine learning to drive scale and digital transformation for over 1000 partners worldwide across various industries including airlines, accommodations, and tourism boards.
Prior to joining Google in 2011, Hany headed the software department at Orascom Telecom, developing search engine and linguistic machine learning to address the particularities of Middle East web and languages. He began his career as a Software Engineer.
Hany holds a Masters degree in Computer Science from the American University in Cairo (AUC). He also obtained his Master of Business Administration from AUC, specializing in Marketing and Entrepreneurship.
