Mr. Vijay Dewan is the Managing Director of Apeejay Surrendra Park
Hotels, India’s first collection of luxury boutique hotels. Presently, the group own, operate and manage 39 hotels across India with keys totaling to 2537. ASPHL also own and operate 104 outlets of Flurys, one of India’s leading confectionary brands. The company is listed on the Indian stock exchange and is among the top 10 hotels in India by market capitalization.
Mr. Dewan has a Master’s degree in Organic Chemistry and a Post Graduate Diploma in Hotel Management with over 40 years of
experience in the hospitality industry. He has undergone several professional courses from Cornell University, London Business School, and The Harvard Business School.
Mr Vijay Dewan was Chairman of Confederation of Indian Industry Eastern Region in 2021-22. Prior to this he served as the Chairman West Bengal State Council of CII for the year 2019-20. He also served as the Co-Chairman of the Confederation of Indian Industry National Committee on Tourism & Hospitality for the term 2022-2023. Currently he is an elected member of the Confederation of Indian Industry National Council from the Eastern Region.
Furthermore, Mr Vijay Dewan is an independent director of Nicco Parks
& Resorts Ltd. He is also an Executive Committee member of The Federation of Hotel & Restaurant Associations of India and a Managing Committee member of Hotels & Restaurant Association of Eastern India. (HRAEI)
