Dan Ruch is a partner at Rho Capital Partners. Prior to joining Rho, Dan founded and was CEO of Rocketrip, a corporate travel platform that helps enterprises reduce spend by rewarding employees for saving. Under Dan’s leadership, Rocketrip sold its product to mid and large enterprise customers, raised $32M in venture funding from Y Combinator, Genacast Ventures, Canaan Partners, Bessemer Venture Partners and GV, and exited to Mondee Holdings in September of 2020. Prior to founding Rocketrip, Dan served as Vice President, Europe for Tremor Video, a then leading provider of technology-driven video advertising solutions. Before that, Dan was responsible for Tremor’s business development efforts in the US. Earlier in his career, he worked at TACODA until its successful exit to AOL, and at GroupM’s agency Mindshare / MAXUS global. Dan graduated from the University of Wisconsin – Madison with a BA in Psychology and lives in New York City with his wife and two children.
