Ed Carey serves as the Chief Sales Officer for Discover Puerto Rico, the Destination Marketing Organization (DMO) formed to accelerate the recovery of the tourism economy on the island. His previous roles in Puerto Rico included the opening of El Conquistador Resort and the re branding of the famed El San Juan Hotel and Casino (now a Fairmont Resort).  He was also part of the development team of LXR Luxury resorts, which later became Hilton Corporations Waldorf Astoria Hotels and Resorts brand and served as Managing Director of Sales at the flagship Boca Raton Resort and Boca Beach Club.
